The Marquarts Family from Stuttgart Germany bid farwell to our beloved Dorothy Byaruhanga from Kidukuru, Uganda.
Death has snatched us of that very important loving person who we met first in 1984. Since then we were very much obliged to her in love, respect and solidarity. We felt as one family, in Uganda and Germany and she was honoured here and there.
Many children have gone through her care and nature. She stretched her arm to her community in Western Uganda as well as in Germany. This will always continue and many will share from her good work through kindergarten, schools, healthcare and private sponsorship to breaking families, needy children, especially orphans and victims of HIV.
By tireless work Dorothy Atwooki and Elisabeth Akiiki together uplifted the standard of the whole community. They put up their cooperation and finances. They have made teachers, nurses, churchworkers, cooks, builders, engineers. Many children promoted to higher learning institutions. Until today there are wonderful teams working together as Abaana Basome Kidukuru, Kitojo Integrated Development Action KIDA and Ryan`s Farm. Worth mentioning the little dog Kido dearly loved as living sign of relationship between Kidukuru and Stuttgart.
We all bow with thanks befor our sister in mind. She was an amazing lady and a wonderful teacher. All the good things she did will always be remembered by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
May her soul rest in peace. God bless you.
